Here's My Story

 

 Just outside Betty's Kitchen:  

Recently I remembered that I want to visit this cat cafe at Aman Suria and so Ban agreed with my suggestion to check it out. We quite like cats but not as much as dogs :) The only requirement at the cafe was that each customer had to order an item. They had a small selection of meals, cakes and a larger selection of drinks. We ordered their big breakfast. RM 36 each. Yes, it was pricey but we took it as fee to mingle with the cats. Fortunately, it was quite nice. There was a list of rules regarding interacting with cats. The ones that I can remember are Sanitise hands before and after touching cats. Respect the cats: don't carry them, let them come to you. No human food for them. As expected, there were treats (for sale, I would think) for them. No flash and loud click from using camera.  Most of them were napping. There was only a couple that came awfully close to human food :D I managed to pet only a couple of them.      Someone is 'guarding' the rodents :D  ...

 This stall, at Sunway Mas Commercial Centre, was so popular that the piegons were queueing up as well.

  The photo didn't capture a fourth Pomeranian that was only visible later. We found it so funny that, instead of being aware of strangers at the front of the house, they were busy looking in. I'm guessing that they were placed outside while the house was being cleaned thoroughly. When we greeted them ("Hello!"), only the right most Pom turned around but incredulously it turned back again after about 2 seconds looking at us. It was only after a couple more greetings that the rest of the cuties noticed us and started barking. Yes, the earlir one also joined in then. Peer pressure hahaha.

Spotted this beautiful dog at a pet shop. His/her name is Hanako...I think. Too bad, he's/she's sleeping. Gentle giant :)

Usually when I go to Canberra, it's spring season and the flowers of varied sizes and colours motivates me to take photos of them. It was, however, summer during my recent trip and there seem to be fewer variety of flowers still in bloom. Instead, there were plenty of birds.

This is a mouse and not rat, right? It looks too small for a rat. Frankly, I don't know how to differentiate them other than their size and that a rat looks...nastier? *shrug* This mouse was found in the room I slept in at my sister's place. I guessed that it managed to squeezed between the window panels and the insect screen panels. For your information, at that time, I pushed the different panels to different sides. I agreed with my brother-in-law that it looked quite cute but naturally we couldn't have a mouse running around the house, especially with a toddler and a dog in the house It eventually left the room through the window after my bro-in-law pushed the insect screen panels to the right, where the window panels were. From then on, we have to make sure panels are shut.
