Jetstar 4-hour delay

Image
We flew Jetstar to Melbourne for our 6-day vacatio n with my sister's family. Her family drove. Unfortunately, this happened:   There were repeated announcement of delays. When they announced the delayed time of 5.15pm, I suddenly recalled that there should be some sort of compensation if flight is delayed by 3 or 4 hours. Well, I was hungry and was hoping for a meal voucher haha. A check on Jetstar website confirmed my suspicion: 3-hour delay -> meal voucher. Jetstar, however, was quite slow in arranging the vouchers. Luckily, Canberra airport doesn't have immigration check (but there's custom check to get into the waiting area) and so anyone can go right up to the boarding gate without boarding pass. Hence, I exited the waiting area and went back to the check-in counter to enquire about meal voucher, which was issued within the next 10 minutes. It was AUD 8 per passenger. Compare that with the AUD 20 voucher from Qantas when flight was delayed by a mere 2 hours. Once

De Sundays Cafe @Butterworth

Image
It took us a long time to visit De Sundays again. Probably 6 months. There were other eateries to try but I think the most important reason why it took that long was because of Jonnis Pasta stall at Seaview QQ Foodcourt. Sadly, the latter has closed down :( So last month, we dined at De Sundays for a second time and this time I chose something from their ad hoc menu: pan seared chicken leg (RM 23.90, before 10% service charge). Beautiful, isn't it? It was delicious and not rich. Vegetables were lacking though. Still, I would have this again.

Steam Year in Review 2023

Image
Wuahaha. Yes, yet another bunch of statistics. I don't know about Spotify (I started using it this year) but this year is the first time Twitch and Steam provide such recap/review iirc. (1) 15 games played (Steam median = 4). 8 new games. (2) 147 achievements unlocked (Steam median = 16) across 9 games, including 30 rare achievements. (3) Longest streak: 217 days (Steam median = 5), across 13 games. (4) Top 3 games: Baldur's Gate 3 (43% of play time, 468 sessions played), Downfall - A Slay the Spire Fan Expansion (12%, 222), Minion Masters (11%, 159) (5)  25% of games played were new releases (vs average of 9%). Twitch Recap 2023

Yes, it's another lovely bunch of statistics 😁 (1) Hours watched: 641 (2) Distinct days visited: 320 (3) Top 5 categories: Overwatch, Valorant, Paladins, Deceive Inc., Minion Masters I don't really watch Valorant. I merely lurked in a supertf's Twitch stream just to support him. As for Deceive Inc., I only watched Fitzyhere played it when he took a break from Overwatch 2 (waiting for Sombra rework). (4) 2.327k chats sent. (5) Apparently I was a top user and so earned a shiny badge for it. (6) Hours watched for top 5 streamers: supertf (221), Fitzyhere (131), rockmonkey (42), BadAsAFish (26), DanielFenner (25)

Multi-city trip

Every year I visit my sister's family in Canberra, whenever possible. Usually, I take the shortest route with the least number of transits. For example, last year, Ban and I flew from KL to Melbourne and then took a domestic flight to Canberra and vice versa for our return leg. This year, however, is significantly different, for various reasons: (1) KL - Adelaide, MAS flight: To meet Ban's relatives. (2)  Overnight stay at Atura Hotel, next to Adelaide Airport. (3) Adelaide - Canberra, Qantas flight: Where my sister's family is. (4) Canberra - Melbourne, Jetstar flight: Follow my sister's family for about a week holiday in Melbourne. (5) 6 nights stay at Pegasus Apartment Hotel, Melbourne. (6) Melbourne - Canberra, Jetstar flight. (7) Canberra - Sydney, Qantas flight: The start of the return trip. Wants to try flying SIA. (8) Overnight stay at Holiday Inn Express, Sydney. I wanted to meet a friend there but he'll be back in Malaysia haha. (9) Sydney - Singapore, SIA

Spotify 2023 Wrapped

1. Listened to 10 genres. Pop is the most. 2. One place that listened like I do: Richmond, Canada (because of Mandopop singers!). 3. Played 568 songs. Top song is a song from The Untamed (sorry, can't type Chinese characters). Played it 17 times. Followed by So Blessed (Mariah Carey), I'll Be There (Johnny), a song from Safe Zone (can't write Thai) (Billkin, PP Krit) and Starting Over Again (Natalie Cole). 4. Listened for 14,485 minutes. Peaked on July 15 at 269 minutes. Toop 25% of listeners worldwide (eh, really??). 5. Listened to 426 artists. Top artist is Borislav Slavov. Actually, he's a music composer and his songs that I like come from Baldur's Gate 3 (a CRPG). September was the peak listening month. The other top artists are Olivia Newton-John (peaked in April), BTS (July), Mariah Carey (July) and Kelly Clarkson (July).  6. Listened to over 8k minutes of podcasts. The British History Podcast took 3,217 minutes. Top 5% fan!  Gosh, I love statistics haha.

Baldur's Gate 3: Pallock vs Gortash

Image
In my first playthrough, playing as a Lore Bard , I did the more typical safer route in defeating Gortash: disabled the Steel Watch foundry first (but to do that, I rescued some prisoners beforehand) before confronting him. Steel Watchers are quite a pain to deal with. In this second playthrough, I followed the way of another player, where Gortash was killed in a much easier fashion: However, on hindsight, I should have gotten someone to unlock the next waypoint (should be Baldur's Gate) because the drawbridge connecting South Span and Wyrm's Rock was inexplicably up again, although the guards there acted as though it was down, and so I had to teleport straight to Wyrm's Rock, to be greeted by this: I probably should have made sure the doors of other rooms were close. It might have made a difference.

Change in cholesterol management

One day, I was at the pharmacy to restock my cholesterol medicine, fenofibrate: Pharmacist: You're taking this because your triglycerides level is high? Me: No. It's my LDL that's high. Pharmacist: Then why? Me: When I started taking cholesterol medicine, the GP prescribed atorvastatin. 3 months later, despite the good cholesterol results, he changed it to fenofibrate, citing that it was plant-based and so it was better. Pharmacist: Best you get a second opinion, now that your LDL is the problem, not triglycerides. The GP has already retired years ago and so I consulted another GP, showing her my latest two cholesterol test results. Her advice was either (1) I start on 10mg atorvastatin, or (2) try without taking medicine for 3 months and retest. She said that based on my lifestyle, my comorbidity risk is low and so it's ok if my total cholesterol and LDL is a little high (as long as it's lower than 6 and 4 respectively). I'll try (2) once my current medicine ru

Headache and H. pylori

The headache and lightning pain didn't seem to improve for the next couple of weeks. From experience and research, we knew that it takes quite a while for Flunarizine to be effective and so we just had to be patient. Meanwhile, we met Dr Yew regarding colonoscopy and got that done. They also discovered that mum was infected with H. pylori and so she was prescribed medication for it. After a few days, her headache was much better and so she suspected that it was caused by the infection. At first I dismissed it becaused I was similarly infected decades ago and I don't recall headache as a symptom. However, to my surprise, a search on the internet told me that there is a link between the H. pylori and migraine headache but causation is not certain. There is research that showed that eradication of the bacteria resulted "clinical attacks of headache completely disappeared in 17% of patients. Moreover, intensity, duration, and frequency of headache attacks were reduced in

As stated back in 2016 , the applicable rule on withdrawal of CPF was: " Withdrawal of CPF by Malaysians residing in West Malaysia Who is eligible? Authentic Asian restaurant

A review of an Asian restaurant in Canberra: 😂

Three years

Oh, I forgot to state that the doctor discovered mum was infected with helicobacter pylori (H. Pylori) after the gastroscopy . She was given medicine for two weeks i.e. until the next appointment. At that appointment, the doctor reaffirmed that the polyp was "normal" based on the biopsy. If there was no polyp at all, he would have recommended a repeat of colonoscopy in 5 years time but since they found one, he advised mum to repeat the procedure in 3 years time. This contrasts with the guideline I found. Hmmm. He asked whether mum felt better after two weeks of medication for the H. Pylori infection, which she was. He prescribed 4 more weeks of medication (standard treatment, it seems) and a follow-up appointment in 6 weeks time where she will undergo a breath test to check whether the infection is still there or not. Yes, there is a two-week "rest" before the test. As for the rest of the indicators that were highlighted by various diagnosis, It seems that the hemo

I'm so glad that Spotify recommended this song. Love it! Lyrics as taken from the YouTube video above: Mahalini – Sisa Rasa Verse 1 Melihatmu bahagia Satu hal yang terindah Anugrah cinta yang pernah kupunya Kau buat ku percaya Ketulusan Cinta   Seakan kisah sempurna kan tiba Verse 2 Masih jelas teringat Pelukanmu yang hangat Seakan semua tak mungkin menghilang Kini hanya kenangan Yang telah kau tinggalkan Tak tersisa lagi waktu bersama Chorus Mengapa masih ada sisa rasa di dada Disaat kau pergi begitu saja Mampukah ku bertahan Tanpa hadirmu sayang Tuhan sampaikan rindu untuknya Bridge Masih tersimpan, setiap kenangan Semua cinta yang kau beri Kau takkan terganti

Slay the Spire: Downfall's The Colllector

Image
After I was done with my first Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough , I wanted to play something less time consuming for a little while before resuming my second playthrough . I chose Slay the Spire's expansion, Downfall. To my pleasant surprise, there was a new locked character, which much later on I found out to be still in Beta. To unlock it, I had to finish a run i.e. beating at least the Act 3 boss with the 7th villain i.e. Snecko. I did that long time ago because I had already unlocked the Ascension level. Oh well, I did it one more time on normal level, just to unlock the new character soonest. The new character is The Collector. I'm amazed and happy that this is yet another unique character. Key features: There's a separate deck called the Collection. Cards there are Megathereal, which is actually the same as Ethereal. I don't know why they use a different term for it. One card is drawn each turn. It's collected from from fallen enemies provided you have sufficie

Claypot chicken rice at Canton Poh Kei. Taste was quite good but it appeared that the chicken was lightly...fried? Not the usual texture that I like.   Grilled lemongrass chicken Banh Mi at An Vietz. Tasted better than the one at Pho Vietz but much less vegetables and more expensive too. Ban and I used to have Dominos every Tuesday, taking advantage of their Tuesday special deals. Then for years, they stopped that and so did we. Recently, it came back again. RM 11 for regular pizza (take-away only). It's nice to have pizzas every now and then.

12% is "slightly"?

In this article by The Smart Investor, this sentence caught my eyes: " The lender’s total loan provision stood at S$151 million for 3Q 2023, up slightly from the S$135 million a year ago. " That's an increase of nearly 12%. Definitely not "slightly"! Disappointing for a team that analysed numbers all the time.

Colonoscopy

Few months ago, I came across a "Quick Reference for Healthcare Providers: Management of Colorectal Carcinoma" by Malaysia's Ministry of Health. From there, I surmised that we should send mum for a colonoscopy because her older sister was diagnosed with colorectal cancer a few years ago. This was further confirmed with my sister's GP, who also suggested to go for OGDS (gastroscopy) as well because it's convenient to do so when already performing colonscopy. Also, it's cheaper as a package. Upon the GP's recommendation, we made an appointment with Dr Yew at Lam Wah Ee Hospital. There, we agreed on a date for the procedure and consequently hospital staff explained the do's and don't's for the day before and right up to the procedure itself, including how and when to drink the laxative. Thankfully mum's prep for the procedure went quite smoothly except that she couldn't sleep due to anxiety. We were asked to arrrive at the hospital at 7.3

Baldur's Gate 3: Bard playthrough

Image
This is my first playthrough, which I finally finished recently after more than 230 hours 😬 (excluding reload).  My intention is to play all classes and that applies to the companions too. So, in this playthrough, these were the classes: Me - Lore Bard lvl 12 Lae'zel - Battlemaster Fighter lvl 12 Shadowheart - Tempest Cleric lvl 12 Wyll - Tome Great Old One Warlock lvl 9 + Storm Sorcerer lvl 3 I'm happy with all these classes. They all shone equally bright :) As for the game itself, I love it although I became impatient towards the end because I wanted to resume my second playthrough to experience other classes. The voice acting was great. For instance, I remember a decision that I made in advance through logical discussion with my hubby but when the time came to make that, I was very moved by a particular character's reaction before and after the decision. It truly moved me. The game isn't flawless but many of them can be overlooked easily except for one: Act 3 felt m

Missing key details

In our WhasApp chat group, Ban's mother: Anyone free for lunch? Ban: Okay Ban's mother: *place the heart emoji on Ban's comment* That was done at 9.45am. But where are the two crucial details: time and venue? These will then determine the time of departure. I don't understand how people can just live without planning even just a little. At 11.45am, I was getting hungry and so had not choice but to get this lunch meeting going 😔

This is Quang noodle at An Viet. It cost RM 23.90 (RM 27.70 after tax and service charge). I asked for more vegetables fyi. It was quite delicious. The noodle reminded me of the thick pan mee. The tumeric taste was quite light and so I didn't get jelak even at the end. It's worth the price imo. It's actually a seasonal dish and technically it shouldn't be in the menu any more but it was still there when I was at An Viet recently. Ban had not been satisfied with how his air-fried chicken dish turned out until this. The inspiration came from the menu that came with the air fryer but that recipe asked for breadcrumbs, which we don't have and we were reluctant to buy a bag just for one dish. So I suggested oat as replacement. I stock up oat because I have some each night. The result was air-fried pre-brined chicken with pepper powder, coated with oat. It was good but I felt that it needed something to balance out the dryness and so I thought of Thai chilli sauce. A li

Lightning pain?

For more than 2 months, mum's headache has become more frequent. Then later she experienced "lightning pain" that traveled from the left side of her neck to her left eye and then to to top of her head when she clipped her nails on her left hand, and also while brushing her false teeth 😕 Since her appointment with the Neurology clinic at Penang GH's in a couple of months time, she chose to wait till then, rather than to go to the Emergency department to eventually get attended by a doctor from that clnic. Each time I was at Butterworth I checked on her about these. Fortunately, it didn't get worse and it didn't disrupt her daily activities except for her exercise, which she had to cut down significantly. Later at the clinic, the doctor took time (20 minutes, which is pretty long for consultation at GH) to ask her relevant questions. Since mum doesn't have any other symptoms and doesn't have cancer, diagnostic test such as CT scan was unnecessary at tha

Tried this new restaurant after having checked Google review. Ban ordered the Seafood Napolitana: He liked it. I didn't try it because I don't like tomato based sauce. My nephew ordered Carbonara Bacon: We both liked it. He also ordered vanilla milkshake, which I'm not a fan of: the ice wasn't blended. It was like drinking vanilla drink with ice. They did warn me when I ordered and my nephew was ok with it. I should have asked whether this was how they always makes it or that their machine malfunctioned that day. I ordered Cereal Chicken Chop: Clearly cornflakes were used and boy it was so delicious! First time I ever tried such dish. I asked to swap fries for mashed potato. Highly recommended. All 3 dishes cost RM 15.90 each, gross of tax and service charge. Cheap.

You are right

Cow Brother v3

Image
Cow Brother's stall reopened at Taman Megah but at the newly opened Hakka Legend kopitiam, manned by different people. Naturally, I had to try their Seremban beef noodle. I immediately asked for more peanuts, which were given without much fuss and no additional charge. The soup was great but unfortunately, that was the only good part. The noodle was bland and had measily number of beef pieces. Still had no pickled vegetable. Overall, noticeably worse than when they were at Megah Good Luck Restaurant , which in turn was worse than when they were at Damansara Uptown. I rather pay more (and eat less frequently) to dine at KBN .

Each time I passed by this restaurant, it was at least half-filled. It had good reviews too. I kept forgetting to try it and so one day when I did remember, I immediately suggested to Ban to dine there. We went there around 6pm, which is our usual dinner time but it's early for many people and so there was no problem in getting seats. There were quite a number of mains I wanted to try. In the end, I chose smoked salmon, avocado and eggs: It was delicious and unexpectedly filling. Quite a balanced taste: not too heavy or light. I was pleasantly surprised that there were two eggs. Ban ordered shakshuka, something that he heard of before (I hadn't): It was slightly spicy and sour. Not something I like but Ban loved it. Unfortunately, he had mild tummy ache thereafter. We speculated that he needed to take two capsules of multi-enzyme instead of only one when having this dish. We definitely would dine there again but sparingly because of its price: It's still worth it and so I r

Baldur's Gate 3: Pallock destroying goblins

Image
In my first run as a bard, I killed many goblins in the temple and poisoned many outside it. So that meant there were quite a number of them left alive.  I'm slowing down my bard's progress so as to allow Ban to catch up. He abandoned his first run which started about the same time as my bard run. To avoid spoilering him, I used earphones while playing my bard. Alternatively, I played my pallock (paladin + warlock or also known as lockadin by many players; the name pallock is an original invention by me iirc) which started about the same time as his second run. Naturally, his run is much further than my second run since I'm playing two playthroughs simultaneously. In my pallock run, I killed all goblins in Blighted Village easily. I negotiated with the ogres and left the two lovebirds alone in the barn. I didn't kill those between the village and the temple. As for those just outside the temple, I poisoned them. While my pallock was in conversation about the poisoning

Decided to try this place after reading Google reviews. Had an average rating of more than 4 stars.   The restaurant was clean, comfortable and cozy. Here was what I ordered: They were all quite good. First time I had soft shell crab with hirata bun. Delicious. The prices, however, were a little high: Not sure whether I want to go there again, given other choice of restaurants. Hmmm.

Sticking to exercise

Since the last appointment , my mum's hand's tremor was lessening but later because she stopped exercising for a while (grieving over the death of her beloved dog), it worsened a little. Then it got better after she gradually got back to exercise and still have room to improve when it was time to meet the psychiatrist again. This time, a senior psychiatrist (in terms of experience, not age) attended my mum. She asked the usual questions e.g. "Any problem? Anything disturbing you?" Mum told her that she was still grieving over the death of her beloved dog and that she stopped exercising for a while. She also had trouble with getting good sleep i.e. took sometime to fall asleep and sometimes couldn't really sleep. The doctor advised her to adopt better sleep hygiene e.g. use bed only for sleeping (and not for watching shows on phone), don't watch drama at least 1 hour before bedtime. At the same time, she told mum that it's normal to sleep less as one ages.

14th anniversary

Image
We recently celebrated our 14th anniversary. Normally, we would dine at Kinpachi but Ban's mum planned to have her birthday dinner there the next day. Although we didn't mind dining there twice in a row, we decided to have something different: Seremban beef noodle at KBN, followed by souffle at Soufflé Dessert Cafe. We planned to share the souffle, like what we did before, because it is too much for one person. The Seremban beef noodle portion is slightly lighter than the usual meal and hence there will be room for dessert. As usual, we parked at Starling Mall and we were about to walk out of the mall when I noticed on Google that KBN is close on Wednesday. Gah. Ban suggested a few places in the mall itself. Although he let me decide, I chose his preferred venue i.e. Ramen Hitoyoshi. We chose ramen dishes that were more expensive than the usual ones we would have when we dine there. Delicious as usual but I think the size of meat shrank substantially. After dinner, we started w

Sharp left ear

This earphone , purchased back in 2020, didn't even last a month. So I returned it to Gadgeto for another one. This one, if I recall correctly, lasted for about 2 years. Both, like the previous one, stopped working on the left side. Consistently left side. So this time, I shopped around and bought Lenovo HE05X wireless corded earphones. It cost RM 23.50 (discounted from RM 68), before the cost of shipping was included. I loved the freedom of using wireless earphones. However, about 10 months later, sound from its left side was barely audible. Gah. I'm now considering accumulate enough Air Asia points (via my CIMB Air Asia Saver Award) to redeem the Sony WI-C100 wireless earphones, the same one which I redeemed for Ban (it's been good so far for him), unless someone strongly recommends me another. My sister did recommend Bose but it's that bulky type that covers the ears. Though I don't doubt her claim that it's comfortable, it's too bulky to be transported.

Baldur's Gate 3: Destroying goblins

Image
I didn't kill any goblins in Blighted Village. I did, however, kill a sleeping creature and these two lovebirds:   Next, I poisoned their cauldron of alcohol, just outside the door of the temple. I then killed one of their 3 leaders, Priestess Gut:   I opened the gate of the spiders and let them kill a few goblins around there before they were killed by the remaining goblins. That surprised me. The next leader, Minthara, was my target: Freed Halsin and killed the goblins there: Finally, killed the top boss with a bang: I didn't bother to kill any others. According to Zevlor, goblins are usually disorganised and so having killed their leaders, they should pose no treat to the refugees. However, in my second run as a pallock (paladin + warlock), I may kill as many goblins as possible because Ban said that they are considered evil in Faerun.

Baldur's Gate 3: The Grymforge (mis)adventure

Image
The first neutral/friendly people I met in the Underdark were the "fungus people" at the Myconid colony. They told me of the duegars slaughtering their people, whose leader then gave me the quest of killing the intruders. I also spoke with a gnome who escaped slavery from the duegars, which then started the quest of saving the remaining enslaved gnomes. I was quite pumped up to punish those slavers. First encounter was with the duegar intruders: Except for the "end turn" bug, it wasn't much of a problem. Doing that opened up the next quest by the fungus people's leader: killing the leader of the duegar who, strangely, is a drow. He, the rest of the duegars and the enslaved gnomes were in a seprate area called Grymforge. I needed to take a boat to cross the lake to get there and then this happened: Judiciously use of a particular arrow made this battle quite easy :) At this point, I felt great, already having killed quite a number of these slavers. At dock, t

Baldur's Gate 3

My wish for a computer game version of D&D 5e came true with the launch of this game. In fact, in general, this game changed certain rules/mechanis that made it better than 5e. The glaring exception is druid's Wild Shape (not elaborating this, not in this post anyway). I was willing to wait for a sale in future to buy it but Ban surprised me buy gifting me a copy. Muack! I've been wanting to play a game that Ban would also play at the same time, so that we can chat about it enthusiastically. Unfortunately, he wasn't interested in Dungeon Siege III , which was the last game I completed (4 playthroughs!). Hence, I in turn gifted him a copy of BG3 since I knew he was keen on getting it :) I decided to choose a class that is absent among the companions (those who are available in Act 1) and going alphabetically, I chose Bard for my first playthrough. So, currently my party composition consists of a Lore bard, Battlemaster fighter (Laezel), Tempest cleric (Shadowheart, respe

Korean corn dog

Image
Ever since I watched Jinny's kitchen, I was keen to have a bite at this snack. I spotted these two at Paradigm Mall: Myeongdong had nice packaging as well as presentation of the cheese corn dog. It didn't have the sugar finishing like those in the tv show. The main problem, however, was that the cheese was a clump and it all came out, dislodged, with just one bite. The sausage used was the typical ordinary hot dog. So, ya, nothing special. Chunz's corn dog didn't have sugar finishing either. Its packaging was simpler but it was cheaper and more importantly it was much more delicious! The sausage wasn't the ordinary kind: it had slight peppery taste and some spices/herbs in it too. Might try their cheese corn dog one day.

Eyeing the end

Here's an update on my mum's retinal condition : I got to know from a pharmacist, who is a friend, that the eyedrop mum used, Nevanac, is meant for short-term usage. Hence, I asked mum to enquire with the doctor on when she can stop using it, given that she no longer has any discomfort. We're keen to end the appointment at Bukit Mertajam Hospital because it's so hard to find parking and driving within the hospital is quite harrowing due to its small road. During the appointment in May, doctor was fairly confident that there was no longer bleeding and swelling in the eye, from the eye check and scan, Still, after consulting another colleague (presumably their senior), they continued prescribing the eyedrop for another 3 months, to be on the safe side. So recently, I went with mum for the latest appointment. Despite reaching 10 minutes before her appointment at 9am, she had yet to be called in to register at 11am. This is unusually long, she told me, as it usually takes o

It's a total mystery and frustrating! I had confirmed with Citibank multiple times my address and I told them that I had no problem receiving cards from them at this address for more than 10 years. After the second lost card, I requested the card be sent via courier if the previous card was sent via normal mail (the officer didn't answer the question). Yet it was "returned undelivered". I was even provided the DHL tracking number by the customer service officer which showed that delivery attempt was made but failed (why???).  So, next I requested that the courier deliveryman to call me when they were about to deliver and to call me again when they reached my address. Citibank confirmed that this request was passed on. This time, similar to my experience with the re

(P.S: I had these months ago and so I forgot lots of detail).   First time I had stir-fried Sarawak Kolo Mee. It was delicious and lots of noodle. This was at Rustic Borneo Kitchen at Jalan Bahagia, Petaling Kaya. The shop was quite hot and so it's better to sit outside but that too runs the risk of hot sun or rain. Been wanting to try this burger at Medan Selera WR at Jalan Raja Uda, Butterworth. It was too sweet for me. The brown sauce was already sweet and yet they added mayo. Not having it again. These were at Rutin, Bukit Mertajam. I totally forgot what were these (ooops) but they were all good. Too bad that it's pretty far from where I stay in Butterworth. Even if I'm keen to go there again, Ban wouldn't be. As for the last photo, it was Ban's attempt to stir the drinks properly (my suggestion to use the fork haha). In the end, we asked for straws. We declined them at first because we usually try not to waste them.
