Unofficial thirteenth session for thumb/wrist
Just over 3 weeks after the last session, I was surprised to receive a WhatsApp message from the physiotherapist (Lee) at the Relive Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation centre.
He enquired about my wrist. I told him that it seems to be improving but very slowly. Also, on some mornings, I woke up with pain but it always went away after a few minutes later. He attributed that to stiffness and so recommended an increase of the second exercise from 15 to 30 rep. He wanted to increase the weight used for the first exercise but he held off when I told him I had increase the reps from 10 x 3 to 15, 13 and 12 and that was already challenging.
Such a pleasant surprise: checking up on me and gave me free advice.
It's now been more than 4 weeks. Sometimes I feel that it's fully cured but other times not. I'll formally consult the therapist again if there's no further improvement.
