Underlords before Big Update

So there's going to be a huge update very soon which will introduce new Alliances, new heroes, changes to existing heroes' alliance and new feature.

I've been swinging between Boss 3 and 4 recently and was wondering when I would string a set of wins to get to Boss 5. Here are some videos (as an update from previous post), probably last batch before the significant patch:



After quite a while I tried this composition again. I love builds that include Mages :)




Another Scrappy + Mage composition. A little frustrated not 3-starring Timbersaw and Tinkerer since Scrappies are uncontested. Still, happy with 3rd place.

Hit Boss 4 for the 4th time :) I hope to march onward to Boss 5 soon.
Quite proud at how I managed to whittle the winner's lead from 68-18 to 22-2. I faltered at the end because I wasn't quick enough to reposition. It's the weakest part of my gaming skill.




25th win! I think this is the highest rank points I've gotten so far.

Since the last few matches, Warriors were not contested, I set out to go for this build this game but lo behold 3 of us went for 6-Warrior built and another 2 went for 3-Warrior built lol.

Thank goodness I made it through. I suspect this was partly due to the inclusion of Treant's Protector and Nature's Prophet before the Warrior Alliance 2nd Tier bonus came online.




Reached personal all-time high of rank points.

Wanted to go for either the 6-Warrior build or the Scrappy + Mage build but both Warriors and Scrappies were contested. So tried to go for 6-Mage build. Couldn't get them online soon enough. Oh well. I'm happy to get to the podium despite the rather disastrous composition.




26th win! Hit Boss 5 for the first time (5,765 points) :)

Initially was going for 3 Warriors + 6 Mages, chiefly for cc from Tidehunter and Kunkka (the latter also synergises with Mages for Human Alliance bonuses). However, I replaced the Warriors with Abaddon and Dragon Knight when I got them, as suggested by a highly ranked player (probably ninja) when I asked about Omniknight + Dragon Knight + 6 Mages.

It was really tough: at one point I was at 2nd last place @@. Also, I made a mistake for selling the KotL on my bench, thinking that I already had a 2-starred KotL on the battle field @@.

Here are the character builds for my current run (with the help of Ban): Kyrie Fellblade/Marked Counter: Slow Secondary passives: Execute, Life Font Fellblade itself is a good class because of the various conditions it can inflict and most importantly they can inflict Sleep. Iirc, the only other human class that can do this is Gadgeteer. Their passive Malice increases the chance of landing it by 10%. Fellblade pairs well with Marked because both use ATK and MND in their offensive abilities. Also, Fellblade's abilities are mostly short range whereas Marked has some long range abilities. Execute for more damage. Life Font is for suvivability. Ban opined that with two healers, there's no need for Life Font but I discover that it enables Kyrie to survive just enough for a healer to heal her up, after having received massive damage. (continue from Part 1 ) Yates Anatomist/Wizard Counter: Cripple Secondary passives: Blessed One, Smart Casting Anatomist is the best healer in game due to the passive Legendary Healer, which also then boost the amount of self-healing by Blessed One. Although Ban thinks Anatomist's Dark spells are sufficient in dealing damage and so he suggests Alchemyst as Yate's secondary class, I choose Wizard for the following reasons: Quite often, demonic creatures have Dark immunity and other creatures have immunity to other elements. So having Dark, Water, Fire, Earth and Thunder spells enable Yates to cast the most suitable spell, especially when the enemies are vulnerable to certain elements. Flexible casting :) Smart Casting is useful so that I don't need to worry much about the positioning of the enemies relative to my other characters when using Mass Healing and the area effect damage spells. Sudden lower body pain

About two weeks ago, my mum developed pain in her pelvic bone, much more on the right side, and squeezing pain in her legs, with occassional spike in pain. She was managing it with paracetamols, 2 tabs three times daily.  Since we didn't know any particular orthopedist in private hospitals (it was only recently that I remember Dr Prashant ), I targeted one at KPJ Penang Specialist Hospital since it's in mainland Penang (instead of on the island). I made appointment for my mum with Dr Joehaimey since he has the earliest suitable date. The moment she walked through his door, he immediately asked her whether the pain from her right side. We were both quite impressed. He was in turn impressed with mum's prepared list of medication that she presented to him on a piece of paper. The key information seems to be the surgery she had back in 2011 to insert titanium plate and screws in her lower spine. He guessed that there's accumalated wear and tear due to aging.
