Atlas Reactor: Vonn

I believed I tried to be the first 5 to level up Vonn to level 20 but I couldn't match the dedication of some players lol. Nevertheless, I enjoyed playing this firepower, despite the lack of dash.

This is the build I'm currently using (and have been using for a long time):
(for details on abilities and mods, please refer to this wikia)

(1) Icebreaker: Rangefinder (2 loadout points)

I was momentarily puzzled at how an additional 0.5 range can be useful. I quickly realised that it would be the case when you're aiming diagonally. I tried Piercing Cold but as with all piercing mod, it's too conditional for my liking.

(2) Cold Snap: Lingering Chill (1 loadout point)

This is a good mod because either enemies hit the target this turn or next (you'll get energy either way) or they totally avoid that target, which is great if you have placed it on an ally who's likely to be hit (which you should) but avoid the damage instead.

Ice-X appears to be a good mod as it takes away some guess work but I don't think it's as good as Lingering Chill because firstly, you should be hitting enemies at a range and so your tank should be the closer juicier target for enemies. If you're too close then hey, it's quite obvious they'll hit you and so making this mod quite redundant. Even if you can make it work, the extra turn of cooldown makes this mod quite unattractive.

(3) Artic Blast: Storm Force (2 loadout points)

I chose this for the increased damage. The default mod North Wind is pretty good as well, especially to catch players who fade. Fade aside, often times, its original width is good enough to catch a number of enemies in sight.

(4) Ice Aegis: Permafrost (3 loadout points)

I used to equip Flashfreeze, which was great in escaping quickly (bear in mind this ability allows full movement and so with haste, you can run really far)...except that there are more and more freelancers who can knockback and so its value is much less.

Permafrost can be used defensively (to run away; watch the second video below) or aggressively (use it when you're sprinting to join the fight; first video below somewhat shows this).

(5) Polar Vortex: Winter Winds (2 loadout points)

Great in catching many enemies, including those who use the dash catalyst. If you use Flashfreeze for Ice Aegis, then you can equip Artic Assault for that extra damage.
