Bad stuff worsened quite significantly :(
This happened despite me exercising 20 mins in the morning (pilate, yoga, physio) and 30-35 mins in the afternoon (swimming) 6 days a week, on average. If it rained, I replaced swimming with 3 km brisk walking on the treadmill for 40 mins. I maintained the same healthy eating lifestyle.
So I resigned to the fact that I have to take medicine. I consulted a doctor, telling her my history of cholesterol results (summarised) and what I did to improve it. She asked me to get back on the previous medicine (fenofibrate) on alternate days.
I'll retest in about 4 months time. If my results improve, I probably will just stick to this prescription or I might consult the doctor again. We'll see.
