Some progress
Three days after the first session, I was pleasantly surprised by a WhatsApp message by the therapist asking me whether there was any improvement, which there wasn't, unfortunately. The pain level was the same. So, she suggested a second stretching exercise:
Combined, the exercises provided immediate relief but it was temporary.
At the next session, she did more extensive and intensive massage and I concentrated to give some feedback on where I felt pain/soreness the most. Midway, she asked for feedback. I had false hope at first because there was no pain but then it returned very shortly :( Again, she massaged based on my feedback and miraculously the pain was gone! Ok, the pain did come back a few hours later but that was way better than just a few seconds. She ended the session with ultrasound therapy on the wrist.
She introduced a third stretching exercise: right hand on the wall with fingers pointing down, arms at shoulder height. Bend knees until I feel the stretch on my lower arm. Hold for 10 seconds and reset. Repeat 9 more times. Do at least twice a day. If I'm up and about e.g while walking or sitting in a car, the substitite is to just use my left hand to pull back my right fingers to elicit the similar stretching.
Since the first session, I've been doing the exercise at least 4 times a day and continue to do so until today. Overall, the pain level decreased significantly but it's stil there. Next session is a week after the last.
Like before, she checked on me 3 days later. I told her that without doing anything, the pain level was slightly lower. After doing those stretches, the pain was almost gone; just feel very stretched. But the pain will come back maybe an hour to two later? Something like that. Also, all this time the first stretching exercise that caused some pain when I did it.
She viewed this as good sign as there was relief of pain albeit temporarily. She would see what she could do to further improve it. Also, I was asked to stop doing the first stretching exercise.
