Addendum to Stress

I forgot to mention that one reason why driving stesses me out, besides those near-accidents (obviously) which traumatised me, is that it turns me into a nasty person (it's cyclical: stress -> nasty -> stress) and often the people taking the brunt of this are my loved ones. Ban suffered quite a lot, especially because the difference in the way we think about road directions.

Sorry honey! I'm sure with practice we'll understand each other better. Muack!

Differences thinking styles?

William,
Yah, for example, for a road fork, to him going straight is choosing the left fork but to me going straight is choosing the right fork. Happened before, with my mum in the car too, who shared the same thinking as I did. So, just imagined the mayhem lah :)

Incidentally, Ban thinks your style of giving directions is more suitable for me.

I understand so well how you feel about this. Truth, up till now, I still "quarrel" wit my hubby once in awhile about driving (whether it is on directions from GPS or just the style of driving)..hehe...opsss

My gripe with hubby is his close distance to the vehicle in front and getting too close to a "stop" before putting on the brakes. I always "brake" for him :) SR
