As planned

Since the last appointment about 5 weeks ago, it was clear that my mum was well out of the mania phase as she didn't interfere, didn't shop much, had much fewer ideas and cut down junk food severely.

From the recent appointment:
(1) My mum had been going back to bed after breakfast. She had been feeling "blur"/dizzy/giddy. Dr N said it could be the (cumulative) effect of the medicine.
(2) She felt time moved so slow. Dr N said time remained the same but my mum had slowed down her "activities" (which were abnormally fast because it was during the mania phase). Suggested that she start writing a journal or go on with her embroidery project.
(3) She had incontinence twice. GP advised her to do kegel exercise. Dr N, however, raised another possibility: that my mum was too tired.
(4) Maintained dosage for Olanazapine (7.5mg at night) and Epilim (200mg twice daily). Once again, as planned, dosage for Alprazolam was further reduced from 0.5mg to 0.25mg at night. Try this for a week and if mum's sleep is fine, then totally cut off. If thereafter her sleep is not ok, then take 0.25mg Alprazolam on alternate nights.
