More on Shin Zushi @SS2

This is fast becoming my favourite place to have my weekly sushi meal since the prices of our usual haunts have gone up unfavourably. In fact, Sushi Tei has closed down all outlets in Malaysia except for 3. Our usual haunt has closed down.

The downside to this outlet is the long queue due to limited space inside. The best time is to arrive before they open at 11.30am. So far, this ensured that we were the first batch to get inside. Queue time was about 15-20 mins, While waiting, we scanned the QR code to pre-order and once we we were ushered to our table, we scanned the table QR code to send through the pre-ordered dishes.

Going during lunch time, however, has a downside: carpark spot. It's competitive at SS2 during this time. Hence, I'm grateful that so far it didn't take long for us to get a spot. In fact, the latest one was the fastest: a spot almost right after we turn intoed the road.

Prices had been the same during all our 3 visits. Some might think that portion is small but it's just right for me. The ratio of fish to rice is great imo, better than many restaurants. Kinpachi probably has the same ratio but the portion is much bigger and the price is way higher too.
