Canberra May 09 Part 3

This time, instead of the typical transit point at Sydney, I transitted at Brisbane. No, it wasn't because I wanted to stop over and walk about, especially since I've never been to Brisbane before. It was because of 2 factors: (1) I wanted to avoid the harrowing experience I had with respect to time in between flights. I was running from one terminal to other terminal. Hence, this time I ensured I had more than an hour transfer time. (2) I wanted to reach Canberra at a time such that my sis and her entire family could come and pick me up, instead of only my brother in-law since the kids have certain routine to follow.

Ironically, I did run lol. After putting through my bag and yoga mat, with my laptop taken out and screened separately, I forgot to take my yoga mat. I only realised that after I was close to the domestic terminal departure gate. I ran back, got it back (thankfully) and ran towards the gate. I was the last passenger...again lol.

Brisbane has much better weather than Canberra or even Sydney. Maybe because Queensland's weather is more towards tropical than temperate. Heck, I think capital city in Australia has better weather than Canberra

Comfy proper train to the domestic terminal. Got a free ride since I'm a Qantas passenger. It's quite shocking if really need to pay for such shuttle service. The other platform has trains going to the city and other places.

Luckily it wasn't this propeller plane I took to Canberra, although I suspect it will be when I fly to Melbourne later enroute to Singapore.

As I've said in Part 1, I suspect they are still lingering in Melbourne long after William has left Melbourne ;-)

(continue from Part 1 ) Yates Anatomist/Wizard Counter: Cripple Secondary passives: Blessed One, Smart Casting Anatomist is the best healer in game due to the passive Legendary Healer, which also then boost the amount of self-healing by Blessed One. Although Ban thinks Anatomist's Dark spells are sufficient in dealing damage and so he suggests Alchemyst as Yate's secondary class, I choose Wizard for the following reasons: Quite often, demonic creatures have Dark immunity and other creatures have immunity to other elements. So having Dark, Water, Fire, Earth and Thunder spells enable Yates to cast the most suitable spell, especially when the enemies are vulnerable to certain elements. Flexible casting :) Smart Casting is useful so that I don't need to worry much about the positioning of the enemies relative to my other characters when using Mass Healing and the area effect damage spells. Sudden lower body pain

About two weeks ago, my mum developed pain in her pelvic bone, much more on the right side, and squeezing pain in her legs, with occassional spike in pain. She was managing it with paracetamols, 2 tabs three times daily.  Since we didn't know any particular orthopedist in private hospitals (it was only recently that I remember Dr Prashant ), I targeted one at KPJ Penang Specialist Hospital since it's in mainland Penang (instead of on the island). I made appointment for my mum with Dr Joehaimey since he has the earliest suitable date. The moment she walked through his door, he immediately asked her whether the pain from her right side. We were both quite impressed. He was in turn impressed with mum's prepared list of medication that she presented to him on a piece of paper. The key information seems to be the surgery she had back in 2011 to insert titanium plate and screws in her lower spine. He guessed that there's accumalated wear and tear due to aging.
